Kojima also reveals work on another “completely new” game, other visual projects
Hideo Kojima appeared at The Game Awards 2022 event on Thursday to officially reveal that Kojima Productions is developing the Death Stranding 2 game. Koijma also said he was working on another “completely new” game that he is experimenting with, as well as other visual projects.
Kojima said he had the story for the sequel finished before the pandemic, but after experiencing the pandemic he rewrote the entire story from scratch. He added he also rewrote it as he “didn’t want to predict any more futures.”
Death Stranding 2 (temporary title) will feature Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Troy Baker.
