Boy, Sōichirō Yamamoto‘s artstyle is not working here. The author of Teasing Master Takagi-san‘s signature style of cute characters with big noggins and fiveheads may work for realistic slice-of-life romantic comedies, but combined with The Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki’s bare-midriff costume designs, it kind of gives things a “sexy baby” vibe.
